Dillon loved word play. Shakespeare, his hero, had been a master.
Sangeeta rolled her eyes every time he started. “Why couldn't I have dated a poet, or a novelist, instead of a playwright?”
“It wouldn’t help.” Dillon laughed. “Poetry and prose are a writer's tools, but the play’s the thing.”
