The house's previous owner had always decked the large pine tree in the front yard in brightly colored lights and gaudy baubles.
Lyn preferred simplicity. She topped it with a star and sprinkled birdseed and suet balls over its branches, letting her colorful daily visitors lend Christmas a natural beauty.
