Don’t pretend you can’t hear
The cries of a world slowly dying
The sounds of its children crying.

Don’t pretend you can’t see
The tears of a world in mourning
Lost chances, ignored warnings.

Don’t pretend you can’t speak
To save the world we live in
Instead of taking, giving.
