Tish flickered in and out. Ginny, her last and only hope, had been gone too long. It was too late! Last of her kind, Tish had failed her quest.
She sat beneath her favorite tree, head bowed, saying a silent goodbye.
She flickered, gone, then back. Longer this time. Not yet!
“I believe!” Ginny’s cry rang through the forest. Then hundreds of voices, thousands, joined in.
Tish sat up straighter, becoming more solid. Ginny had done it! She had promised this human magic, called internet, would bring more believers.
Tish cried joyful tears as dozens of fairies reappeared around her.
