I said goodbye to Jace yesterday

I had meant to write a new story for you this past weekend, but Jace became very ill. Those of you who have been with me from the beginning likely knew that he dealt with chronic health issues throughout his life. He made it to eleven, but yesterday, I had to say goodbye to my dearest companion and friend. I’m grieving hard and don’t think I’ll be able to write anything for this weekend either. I did tee up a Halloween story from the archives for tomorrow for you.
