Hateful Halloween

“We can’t invite her. Mother hates her!”
“All the more reason,” Betty said with a wicked grin that grew wider as she thought about it. “It’s Halloween. I can disguise her, so Mother won’t recognize her until we point her out at the end of the party.”
Blaine stared at his sister in disbelief, then, slowly, a smile crept across his face. Two birds with one stone. This party was going to be epic!
This tiny Halloween story first appeared on BMAC. I seem to remember it was inspired by the image. I guess this isn’t your typical “happy family.”
