Eclectic Ink has added a new section: Eclectic Extras
Eclectic Extras will begin regularly publishing collaborations with other creators beginning on the last Sunday of February. I know that’s two months away, but I got excited and created the new section. Since you’ll see it in my navigation bar, I thought I’d better let you know why it’s there.
I’ll kick off this section with a story based on a collaboration with another AI artist. The plan going forward is to reserve the last Sunday of each month for artist collaborations.
The first post will set out the format for these and credit the other artists who helped realize both the concept and the method of collaboration. Subsequent posts will follow this template.
Because you subscribe to Eclectic Ink, you will automatically be subscribed to Eclectic Extras. You can opt out, but please be aware that these collaborations and their stories will replace my current Sunday offerings. I won’t be publishing two stories on Sundays.
For now, this change will only affect one Sunday per month. As more collaborations occur, I’ll start to fill up other Sundays. My goal is to eventually reserve Sundays exclusively for collaborations.
Sunday offerings will continue to be free. I will not put these behind a paywall. So, there will be two changes for you as a reader, neither of which will affect your pocketbook.
First, you will see the collaborative artwork and the prompts behind that artwork in addition to the story I write to go with them.
Second, your email will say it is from Eclectic Extras, rather than Eclectic Ink.
Since this change won’t show up in your mailbox for two months, please remember to watch for that first new email. Until then, happy reading!
Keep on reading. Keep on creating.
