Kendra's Mighty Pencil
“The pen is mightier than the sword.”
Burt rolled his eyes. “You’re holding a pencil.”
“Am I, though?” Kendra asked. “Maybe this is a gun. Maybe I shoot evil people, eviscerating them with words. Maybe I’m like Chaucer!”
“You’ve been watching A Knight’s Tale again, haven’t you?”
Kendra blushed. “Maybe.”
I wasn’t sure what to do with the words pencil, gun and evil. And then I remembered one of my favorite movies with Paul Bettany, A Knight’s Tale. Chaucer strikes again!
