Lost, Fe’de hid in the mountains, hoping his mother would find him. Hunger gnawed at him; fear kept him still.
He spotted a dragon flying overhead, just as a group of humans approached. He curled into a terrified ball. The dragon dove, belching flames. Fe’de soared skyward to meet her.
