Almeda expected an avalanche of hugs from Karina. When only Micky greeted her, albeit with a warm hug, she raised a questioning and hurt eyebrow.
Handing her a waiting glass of wine, he said, “She’s discovered microbial biology.”
Smiling, Almeda raised her glass. “That’s my girl. Lost in learning again.”
Laura gave me this prompt long before I wrote it, but I was busy trying to move house. The prompt was lost in learning.

Made me smile because here I am, 71 and still lost in learning. Although it's a deeper learning now, not as academic, it's still helping me grow. Love how you put so much emotion, laughter or tears or moments of insight, into so few words ☺️
How about addicted to learning, lol! That’s me! I love your stories because they are bite-sized and don’t (usually) take a long time to read. I already get soooo many emails and newsletters, that I don’t have enough time in the day to read every word. Thanks again for what you do!
