In my deepest meditations, I find myself surrounded by light in the heart of a lotus blossom. I love the insight you've given it. No mud, no lotus. Sort of like no rain, no rainbow. Fills my heart with hope 🪷🌈🦋❤️
When misfortune strikes, I give myself time to rage, mourn, or feel whatever I'm feeling. Once I've had a chance to sit with my feelings, it's easier for me to adapt and move forward without the weight of unprocessed emotions tethering me to the past.

Mine too. This has become a mantra for me in difficult times.
Nice story with a good moral. Growth often comes from hardship.
Thanks, Mark. It certainly has for me!
Thank you for introducing me to Thich Nhat Hanh. And, a lovely story, Dascha.
Thank you, Jenise. He was an amazing man.

That's a great way to approach things. Pretending something doesn't affect you doesn't make it so. It only buries it to fester!
