“Rest your head for just five minutes.” Daniel set the lovingly crafted coffee beside Lainie’s still blank notepad. “You’ll find the story.”
“I can’t. My editor needs this tonight,” she answered, reaching for the cup.
Noticing the heart, she looked up, eyes crinkling in a smile. “Let’s make it ten.”
