I love a story that defies expectations, turning the obvious conclusion on its head. How many of you thought Gran was dying? I wrote this story using only dialogue to bring out not only the relationship between Lena and Gran, but also suggest the nature of the relationship between Gran and Mom as well. Not bad for fifty words.
