“What are you doing?” Cal asks, exasperated.
“What do you mean?” I evade, sliding my legs around the obstacle blocking them.
“You can't possibly sleep like that.”
“Sure, I can.” I contort my body into a back-breaking pretzel.
Sighing, Cal turns off the light. “You could just move the cat.”
I don’t know about you, but I’ll go to ridiculous lengths to not disturb my cat or dog when they’re sleeping. I think you have to be a fur baby parent to get it.
My wife does that. I would just push our cat out of the way. There is plenty of room. Which is probably why our cat sleeps next to my wife. 🤣
Coincidentally, my neck hurts because I just woke up from a semi-nap in an awkward position with my cat on my lap.
