“Daddy, I think he’s dead.” Melanie held up an orange starfish. Tears dripped from her chin onto the sand.
“Let’s see.” Lonny led her into the water, encouraging her to submerge her hand.
“He’s moving!” Melanie laughed, tears forgotten.
“He was thirsty.”
“Me too,” Melanie said skipping back to Mommy.
Wouldn’t it be nice if children’s tears were always so easy to dry? This dribble was inspired by the picture.

Nice. I use photos as prompts also. I sometimes call them "Stock Photo Stories."
