I have three haiku for you today. You would likely guess, based on the images above, that the haiku are quite disparate in theme and you would be right. What they have in common is that I created them all by using their individual haiku as prompts.
I’ve included some of the images Midjourney created in response to the haiku above. The ones that accompany the haiku themselves are the ones I thought best embodied their stories. Let me know in the comments if you agree.
Haiku #1
Sun-kissed autumn leaves
Stained glass beauty; nature’s gift
Soothe my harried soul
Haiku #2
A hole in space-time
Strange new world beckons beyond
Meaning lies within
Haiku #3
Monster’s lair awaits
Unwary traveler’s bane
Enter if you dare
I think my favorite image is the one accompanying haiku #2. I love the vibrant colors, suggesting something exciting beyond the hole in space-time. Which one is your favorite? Is it one in the gallery?
I love all of these haiku, but the second one is my favorite!
Image 1: I feel cozy with a fireplace going and a good book and a cup of tea.
Image 2 is inviting me to walk through and create a story; adventure awaits.
Image 3 made me smile as it seemed cartoony with an echoy haunted laugh coming from the house. No desire to walk through the door, but expecting a grumpy curmudgeon to yell.
