Sunlight’s warm caress Opens weary eyes anew Beauty all around
Clouds blanket, a pall A single copse of trees stands Illuminated
Tiny bird alights Limned in morning sun’s glow Graces me with song
I’m currently percolating a prompt story, so I decided to brighten the day with some sunshine haiku. It took far longer to create the images I wanted than to write the haiku!
