Twitter/Facebook Prompt Week
Monday prompts
Though I only received two prompts today, both were wonderful and challenging. Here are the stories that spoke to me via the prompts.
Redemption
Shanna appreciated the solitude of her self-imposed exile. The lands and peoples she had come to know had changed her irrevocably. But today, she would return home. Today she would find redemption and take back what was rightfully hers, banishing the monster hidden in the deepest recesses of her soul.

Tall Tales
Deep below the lake’s azure surface, Ralphie maintained, lay a dinosaur graveyard, its reflection visible only at midnight.
Skeptical, Jack nonetheless shivered in the dark beside him. Midnight struck. Ralphie laughed, maneuvering his robotic dinosaur along the beach, only to freeze as a giant T-Rex head rose up behind it.
