Benson climbed the tower to the swing high above the partygoers. He listened to the hum of their voices, hearing Lydia’s laughter.
He smiled to himself, glad she was enjoying the party then, watching the sunset as he anticipated nightfall, let the tensions of the day release from his body.

Swingers
Swings and sunsets just seemed to go together. May had promised Josh anything he wanted for his thirtieth. When he requested a “swinging” birthday party, she hadn’t realized he meant that literally.
