Jenny, fed up with his moping around, thrust his old acoustic into his hands. “Remember when you played because you loved music?”
Barry strummed a cord, smiled, and began to play.

The Friday Fix prompt this week was to write a story that somehow incorporated music.
This resonated with me too. As a perpetual guitar student, lack of motivation occurs occasionally for many reasons. When this happens I ask myself why did you start on this journey? I agree we need to reconnect with reasons.
This resonated with me. I didn't stop playing completely, but it hard to get motivated when all your gigs vanish. But it is good to play for pure enjoyment. Once pick up your instrument, you remember the joy of playing.
