Don't you love it when the story carries you along and introduces characters, plot devices, changes in setting... I like to say it's a magical process, although I know that writing allows us to release so many wonderful ideas from our unconscious...giving them life in our stories! Looking forward to part two.
Ooh, I’m intrigued, Dascha! The premise of this story really gripped me. I’m excited to find out more about the brothers’ relationship and overall predicament.
I like the idea of serializing short stories on Substack. As a reader, it’s easier to come back to a three-part story opposed to an entire novel. I also tried serializing a short story recently and it fared much better than I thought it would.
