She came upon it at the edge of the lake, hidden by an old willow. She would have missed it, had she not tripped over a large root and somehow landed face up, her head thrust through the hanging branches. A fairy garden, its heavenly scent somehow confined to this small area, no hint of its aroma escaping into the world beyond, lay before her.
Dascha, this is Amy from the Gratisangha. I LOVE your storylet. A magical escape to a life of light & freedom, from misery in this world. A lovely dream.
Thank-you dear Dascha for that heart warming story. It literally brought tears to my eyes throughout the whole story as I remembered that beautiful old lady I met. Since that magical day we had a terrifically bad storm come through with tornado winds and flash flooding. Last time I went down there it was all gone...bench and all. I was told when looking for that magical old woman that the apartments got flooded and they moved the tenants to other apartments. I am going to go back and look for her again! Sincerely, your Gratisanga friend Mel ❤
I hope one day I too will find a magical garden 🙏💕
This was a sweet escape fantasy.
Really lovely and lots of good feelings. TY, Mel 🧚🏻♂️

MAgical Fae story! Wonderful, now I have a story I can imagine happening in my fairy garden. Thank you.
I’m a sucker for stories about the fae and their ways.
I really enjoyed this. It left me wondering: if given the opportunity, how many of us would choose to stay?
