What a lovely story. Birdsong is why I refuse to wear headphones when I walk. There's something so simple in their music, almost as if they're singing to us, to wake us up to the beauty that surrounds us. I imagine the call of the red winged blackbird by the lake calls spring into being and the call of the robin in the woods reminds us of where we began. 🥰
