Green or Jasmine tea is my morning tea. Chai on the weekends or special times. I have several special cups. One of my dad's fighter plane in WWII which I use when I need his support from the other side. 2 mugs that we got when sailing the Caribbean 30 years ago for indulgent times. 1 from a friend whom I would listen to her life stories during her last year, for reminiscing. 1 I rarely use I got in Monet's garden in Giverny, France. I could use that one to follow my dreams.

That's beautiful, Barb. Tea drinking seems to be a spiritual practice for you.

From bad to worse to better. A common journey. 💕

Really, a repetitive journey. Acceptance would make life so much easier.

I definitely can relate to this story! Although, I do always feel a burst of relief when meetings get cancelled!

It's funny. All the creatives I know are kind of like that.

Excellent story. I'm inspired to bring out my pretty tea cups from Granny! Days get like that!

I use mugs--big ones. 😆 But they hold meaning for me. One says "dog mom" and another, "I love you to the moon and back." I always tell my grandsons I love them to the moon and back and all the way to the stars. It's kind of like having them with me when I drink my morning tea.

That was so sweet, and I’m learning to like tea too!

There's nothing more soothing. It feels almost like a ritual to me. The first sip of tea every morning is a balm to my soul!
