This made we wonder how we end up who we are. Is it solely life events? Is it some pre-existence programming? Or are our childhood imaginary friends the companions we get too busy to hang out with as we age? As a child, my best friend was a cedar tree and the forest is still where I go for healing, where I feel I belong. And now I'll never look at that part of who I am in the same way 🥰

It's food for thought for sure. I think what we see only scratches the surface of what makes us who we are. What lies beneath is a wonderful mystery.
