I love a good fantasy story. Sometimes there’s nothing better than escaping into other worlds. Thanks for sharing, Dascha. Any recent fantasy novels that you would recommend?
Thanks, Justin. Have you read Leigh Bardugo's Grishaverse series? Sarah J. Maas's Glass Throne series is great, as are Victoria Aveyard's Red Queen series and Julue Kagawa's Shadow of the Fox trilogy.
I read Six of Crows years ago but haven’t read any of the other books. I think it’s time I pick up a copy of Shadow and Bone! Thank you for all the other recommendations, too. I have the Glass Throne series on my reading list, but have yet to read it as well!
Shadow and Bone is actually book one of the first trilogy. Six of crows is book 1 of the duology that follows and then there is the final (so far) King of Scars duology. Oh and a collection of short stories called The Language of Thorns. Lots of reading! Damn, and a graphic novel: Demon in the Woods.
I read Six of Crows first as well. I thought the duology was a stand alone for almost a year. Then I devoured everything that was out and waited for the second duology.
Such rich words, my mind is full and happy. Hope 🙏
We all could use some hope right now! Glad this story provided some sense of it.
A story so filled with hope. What a wonderful last read of the day for me 💕
Write, I didn't see this comment until now. Thanks, Laura.
That first line is stunning. I loved this story. We all need something to spark our hope now and again.
Thank you! I very much find that how I write is dictated by the story itself. The language fits the tale, as it were.
Oh, what a strong message of hope. Thanks for this imaginative spark! This made me happy.
I'm so glad! 🥰

It must be quite an expansive world! I figured I better start at the beginning, haha!
