I created some images on Midjourney to honor the fallen.
As Putin's war against the people of Ukraine continues, along with his heinous war crimes, I remember my father-in-law, George Paylor, who fought in WW II.
The war scarred so many, and those were the lucky ones who came home. Too many die because of greed and lust for power. Too many are irreparably harmed.
This is beautiful. I always think of my uncle, who died at 21 only 2 weeks into France when they were ambushed. And Wayne's father who came home but only in body.

Thanks, Laura the costs of war are far greater than people realize.
A beautiful tribute, Dascha.
Thank you, Jenise.
Thank you!
Beautiful, Dascha.
Thanks, Justin.
Nice. My grandfather served in WWII. And my Dad was in the Air Force in the 50s. And my father-in-law was in Viet Nam.
I wonder if this generation will remember the horrors of Ukraine. I hope so.
Very touching
Thanks, Connie.
