I've never dreamed about my dad but he's always in my days. He comes to me in his words of wisdom, sayings that are sometimes silly or sometimes wise. I wouldn't bother to try to count often I start a sentence with the words "well, as my dad would always say". And I love it. It always makes me smile 💖

What a beautiful story. I enjoy hearing where (and “when”) your writing inspiration comes from, Dascha. I like to think that story ideas are always kind of floating around us, and that they follow us to sleep and are there lingering when we wake.

I think they are, but I don't always remember in the morning, so I have to at least get the bones down when they strike at night.
