That is so funny, because yesterday was just that for me, only quiet wasn’t what I needed either. I put on my Google home to some heavy rock and danced (more like banged my head) all over the kitchen. I really needed that release from the sickening anxiety that had plagued me all day. So this story is right on the money for me!
This song will always hold a special place in my heart. Soon after the pandemic began, my principal required every teacher to submit a brief video of themselves dancing to this song with the audio muted. He and the IT department created a “music video” of the faculty/staff dancing to that song and sent it out to all of the families in our community. I’ll never forget it! I think of those teachers, my former students, and that strange time in our lives whenever I hear this song.
I had to laugh when I read this. I feel like I have so little 'me time' and then, when I do have it, I'm not sure what to do first!
