More and more I read stories of folks reaching out to help others even with all those horrid sad stories that are out there. They give me hope in a better world because they prove sometimes dreams really do come true. Beautiful story, Dascha 💕
Wow, Dasha, I almost Could not read it till the ends, cause tears made it impossible.
Well, someone could say it is a somehow predictable story, but I think that is not true, definitely. We all Have gotten envelopes like that and some of them did not have good news. So I was fascinated by the story from the very first sentence. Well done, Dasha, thank you for making me very emotional this morning.
You're welcome, dear! If you read enough of my stories you'll discover happy endings are not predictable. Sometimes things end very badly for my characters. This one needed that happy ending, though!
Yeah. It would have been pretty depressing otherwise.
Juan is talented. He wants to go to college but can't afford it. He goes to work in a factory. Then drinks away his weekends wondering what might have been. The end. 🤣
Every artist deserves a champion like Rita or Tina. I love how you’re stories explore all kinds of moods and tones. You’re not afraid of a happy ending or a tragic one. You just write what the story needs. I’m so happy I found your work.
I feel the same way. I feel like my niche/genre is just me writing the stories that call to me. One of the reasons I enjoy your work is that your stories are carefully crafted from the heart. They speak to me in ways more “calculated” stories don’t.

Thanks, Laura. We need to see hopeful stories sometimes,

Great story, so full of Hope and promise.
Thanks, Connie! I would love it if the world really worked this way.
Hurray for Juan. You know I love a happy ending.
Me too when the story calls for it! This one absolutely did.

You make my heart so happy, Jason! I'm such an eclectic writer I feel it's hard to find "my" audience.

I've been told my stories aren't "literary enough." I take that as a great compliment! 🤪🤪🤪
Here's to more eclectic than literary🙂🙃
I agree! Thank you. 💕
What an awesome fairy tale! Wouldn’t it be great if things really happened that way in real life!
It would. I wonder how many fairy tales are born of the desire for exactly that.
