The Happiest New Year
Nora didn’t miss going out for New Year’s Eve at all. Somehow the parties now seemed a frantic attempt to convince herself she was having a good time.
She snapped a picture of the dogs in their party hats before handing a champagne glass to Rick. “Happy New Year’s, darling.”
Happy New Year’s Eve everyone! I haven’t gone out for the occasion in many years now. I prefer to cuddle with Jace (my dog) and watch something on TV. I've had a cold (not covid—I was tested to ease people's minds) this week, so no going out for me. I will just watch the ball drop in Times Square (on TV) and hope next year will be a better, more sensible year for everyone. Happy 2022. 🎉 😀
