Happy New Year, Dascha!

We stayed home as well. My wife and I watched The Witcher and finished painting our laundry room. 🤣 2022 is off to a great start though: both kids slept through the night! A sign of things to come?!

Sounds like a good night to me! And yay to kids sleeping through! My eldest never did until the day he moved out. At least he stopped waking us up eventually!

It really was. We had fun. Haha, it doesn't happen too often but we will certainly take it! Oh no, I hope we have better luck in this regard! Best wishes for a happy & healthy 2022.

I hope so too! My oldest grandson slept through after the first week. The younger one took several months but he sleeps through a well.

Happy New Year, my dear friend. An Irish new year's blessing for you... May your troubles be less and your blessings be more and nothing but happiness come through your door. As for me, I don't celebrate new year's any more. In my world, the winter solstice is the end of the old year and the following day, the day the sun begins to return to my world, is the start of the new year. And even that is early to bed!! 🤣

I'm loving the Pet Party, not seeing my cat wearing a hat 🤣 Going out is just too much anymore. Happy New Year, so happy to be on this ride with you.

I've had a cold (not covid—I was tested to ease people's minds) this week, so no going out for me. I will just watch the ball drop in Times Square (on TV) and hope next year will be a better, more sensible year for everyone. Happy 2022. 🎉 😀

Aww, well you should have some people over! I know how easy it is to stay home bound, but I miss my friends, so I’m having a small get together with family and friends. Happy New Year! 🎊 🥂

That sounds like fun, Kim. We had our get together at Christmas. I'll have my two youngest with me and we'll watch movies. The older boys will be gaming with friends tonight. Our COVID numbers are headed through the roof and I'm choosing virtual connection!

I understand that, we were sick right after my dad’s funeral (memorial)and even with a light case, it was miserable. We got the monoclonal antibody infusions, so I’m hoping we are good to go now!

I hope so. But this new variant is infectious even to people who have had it and those who have been immunized. It doesn't seem to be as nasty though.
