I've been thinking about this response since you posted it. I was taken aback by my automatic presumption that people are always looking for that soul mate, out there, outside themselves. When I was on my own raising my daughters, I was very happy and was determined that only someone who added to that happiness would be worth allowing into my space. And I grew over 12 years. I also have friends that have never married, never had children, never shared their space with someone else and they are happy and fulfilled. I once asked my friend if she'd ever had anyone serious in her life and she said no, she'd just never met anyone she cared about that deeply. Your story and response presented good opportunities for me to look at me. 💕
Her perfect someone is still out there. Luckily she found out it wasn't him. Now, a follow-up to see where she finds him??😉
Or maybe she discovers she's complete within herself.

I love how deeply you think about things. It always makes our conversations so meaningful!
Wow, some folks just aren't who we want them to be!! Moving on.
Yup. You can't make people be something else. Sometimes the best you can do for both of you is let go
Love the message here!
Thanks, Justin.
