“What the hell is that?” Kirk asked, following Andie’s pointing finger. “It’s the key to my heart,” she answered, watching him for his response. “It’s a pile of stones with a key on top.” Kirk rolled his eyes. “Why are we here?” Andie sighed. “This was your last chance to show some hint of imagination or romance.” Picking up the key, she placed it in Kirk’s hand, folding his fingers over it. “Keep it. Maybe someday you’ll understand, and it will unlock your heart.” Sadly, she turned and retraced her steps to the bus stop alone. She didn’t look back.
