When I was a kid, my Dad asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said, “When I grow up, I want to be a guitar player.” He said, “Well, you can’t do both.” An old joke, but I like to think playing guitar keeps me young at heart.
Like you, I'm still trying to figure this out, what do I want to be when I grow up. I asked my granddaughter that when she was about 10 and she said 'successful'. Still sounds like a pretty good goal to me, whatever that may end up looking like 😁

I think not completely growing up is preferable to smothering the joy of creation! I'm happy to retain a good chunk of kid within!
