You have such a kind heart, Annelise! A lot of people have those problems with dogs. I love both and have both in my home. Years ago we had an enormous Collie. Not fat, just huge. He was tall and long. And he was the most gentle boy. We used to have parents bring over kids who had been scared by a dog. They would crawl all over him and he eased their fears.
Thank you so much, Jason! I love so many genres and so many writing styles. I don't think I could be happy confining myself to one. I sometimes think though that not being consistent makes it harder to find an audience.
I understand that. I like to think of each haiku I write as a micro-story. But since I write so many different things I also wonder if that makes it harder to find an audience. I've settled on building an audience around my style. I think there are a lot of people who just really love stories across lots of genres. Are you familiar with the account Micro Flash Fiction on Twitter? https://twitter.com/MicroFlashFic He published microfiction three times a day across a broad spectrum of genres and he has built a decent audience. His recent anthology of stories from his Twitter account is a lot of fun.
I am a dog person. I had a traumatic cat episode as a child that hasn't left me yet, lol. But I feed the ones that come into my yard.

I love starting my days reading your stories! It's great how you cover so many genres and moods.

I hasn't heard of him. Thanks for making me aware. 😊
