Sometimes you’ve just gotta know when to fold ‘em. Joel firmly agreed with Kenny Rogers on that one, though he’d never been a fan of his music. The problem was, even when he knew he should, sometimes his contrary nature just wouldn’t let him do it. Like tonight, for example.
Since I’m into rock, normally I wouldn’t be either, but I always kinda liked this one. Back when he was with The First Edition, he had a rock song, so I was a fan of his long before my tastes changed to groups like Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin. I think my tastes you really wouldn’t be a fan of these days, because the rock has just gotten harder that I listen to. 🤣
