No matter how Darla tried to arrange them, the packages remained too unwieldy to manage on her own. Not and carry her ice-cream cone as well. She was going to have to bribe Carlton with his favorite tea to help her to her car. And to cap it off, he’d make her publicly affirm that tea was better than coffee, all the while smiling at her with his glistening white teeth.
