Well, it's -9 (real feel -13) here right now. For my American friends, that's 16 and 9. I've been without heat for 36 hours and were snowed in. That's a real-time photo of a commercial airplane at Vancouver Airport. We do not get snow and cold like this here! Climate change!!! 😡
I'm snuggled under blankets with Jace and space heaters running constantly. Today will be a TV and Switch day, I think. What are you all up to?
Wow. I hope you get heat soon. I do believe it is climate change. It must be weird to be getting Ontario-like weather there. It’s pretty nasty here too. We’re wrapped up in fuzzy housecoats and thick socks. Our space heater is also going.
I'm also sure it's climate change. The weather has shifted markedly from previous patterns. We're now being deluged with our usual winter rain, but it's been freezing rain. Temperatures are rising and we'll have flooding next. Oh.. and our heat has been on since Thursday afternoon, thanks.
Wow, Dascha, yes, coastal BC is usually warm this time of year. Grateful you have electricity to keep the heaters running.
We're having lovely, warm weather in N. Arizona, high 50s F to low 60s F. I'm getting out and enjoying it because another cold front will arrive next week. That's fine, because it's bringing precipitation! We never turn down snow nor rain storms in the desert Southwest.
I'm on transit on my way to my daughter's and Burnaby village museum. Abbotsford, -12 feels like -21. Not sure what that is anymore in Fahrenheit but it could simply translate as really cold. Hoping your home is soon warm again.
Brrrr. It’s cold here also, but no snow. I spent the day cleaning the house in preparation for my parents coming to stay for a week and Christmas at our house.
Stay warm! Luckily the weather in Arizona is nice today, so we will take the time to get some walks in after I attempt to make some sugar-free pralines for my Bunco group tonight!

Yes, water is a precious resource no matter how it arrives. We usually see a lot of rain through the winter and very dry summers.

Thank you dear friend. They say they're coming late afternoon tomorrow (Thursday).

It's nice to have company. The cleanup before and after, not so much! 😁
Yikes. Stay warm my friend.
Thank you! It was awesome hearing from you today for a quick chat. 😀
I hope your heat comes back soon! I’m resting today, still trying to stop coughing. Reading, TV, and Switch for me
That cough just doesn't let go! Sending healing pixies my friend.
Brrrrrrr! 😳🥶

Thanks, Kim. Enjoy the walks. And the pralines! 😁
