Bonnie’s disappointment was beyond expression. She had asked her parents for a horse for graduation. She should have known better. Dad always managed to twist things to what he wanted. “Sweetheart, I know you’ll get more enjoyment from the boat” What he knew was that boats made Bonnie nauseous. She would never set foot on it.
